Nevertheless, font/UI scaling helps a lot more people than me. I strive always to properly show my thanks to any dev that would help a lone legally blind gamer. Go to Home > More Font Options > Change case. Use the desktop application to open the document and change text case there, or else you can manually change the casing of text in Word for the web. As a courtesy and a sign of a thanks, when I get this game I'll also make a video and stream it. Word for the web doesn't support changing case. Thank god you're not Paradox or I'd have to go to 2.5 scale or something :)Įdit2: In case anyone actually looked up my posts and saw my throwdown challenge to the devs of Dominions 4 and is wondering why I'm not doing the same for AoW3, I have $80 to spend and my wife wasn't as interested in Dom4/CoE4. Can you include (even in an "unofficial" capacity) the option to scale the UI or font? So few game devs nowadays remember people like me (and people who play their game on a TV) and adding little accessibility options like this (even off to the side) are greatly appreciated.Įdit: 1.2 scale will work perfectly. Speaking of font sizes though, I hear you're making a new game. If you look at my post history, you'll see I've been trying to get some kind of dev response on a few other games as well (Dominions 4 and Stellaris) and you not only answered but answered in great detail. As soon as this game goes on sale, I'm buying it for myself and my wife.

Note though that this is an unsupported option and using extreme values might cause UI glitches.ĮDIT: Make sure to disable the 'Autoscale UI' option in the game settings when using the 'InterfaceScale' in the Game.cfg file. Calibri Light is used for headings in Word 2013/2016, so the heading font will not change unless you change it explicitly. You can obviously tweak the value of InterfaceScale to whatever you want. The default body font in Word 2013/2016 is Calibri, so changing the default font will change the font of all styles that use that font. And on the right the UI scale with the InterfaceScale=1.2 setting in the game.cfg

In this image you can see the default UI scale at 1080p on the left. So anything above that value will upscale your UI. If I recall correctly 0.8 is the default UI scale at 1080.

To do this:ġ) Browse to 'Users\\Documents\My Games\AoW3\Config'Ģ) Create a new file and name it 'Game.cfg'ģ) Open the file with notepad and add 'InterfaceScale=1.2' (without the ' ' )Ĥ) Fiddle around with the value till you got the UI scale that you want. There is however another option which lets you override the UI scale. Anything below this and it will downscale the UI, higher resolutions will result in an upscaled UI when this option is enabled. The autoscale UI option considers 1080p the default resolution for the UI. Uncheck the box next to the MathType Commands item. Word for Mac, open Templates and Add-Ins from the Tools menu. To remove them permanently, quit Word and remove the MathType commands from Word's startup folder. It is correct that autoscale UI does not do anything at 1920x1080 resolution. In the Manage box, click Templates, and then click Go.
